For many years it
has been possible to rent equipment in Imlil. Cafe Soleil was (and continues
to be) the best known source of equipment here. The reality is that are a lot
of places that rent out equipment, and most things are available. It
has to be said, though, that much of the equipment is not exactly state of
the art. The more serious the conditions or route attempted, the more
important it is to bring your own equipment that you know and trust. Often,
though, bringing a full set of winter gear is not an option; kit can be hired here -
but it is important to realise that during the busy seasons there is a
fairly heavy demand on limited resources, so don't count on that vital bit of
kit being available._sm.jpg) This year a new facility has opened that deserves looking at. Dar Adrar is an auberge which has recently expanded to a new property. They have also started a kit shop in town, just above the tourist 'bazars' that sells and rents equipment. Details
